150 g chicken
1/2 onions
1 clove of garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
60 ml water
Chef's tip: Adjust the amount of water to achieve your preferred sauce consistency.
Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Place the chicken pieces in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until the onion is soft and fragrant.
Pour in the water, add salt and black pepper. Stir to combine, then cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 74°C/165°F).
