Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken wings

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Tools you'll need

air fryer mixing bowl tongs

Chef's tip: For extra crispiness, pat the wings dry thoroughly before seasoning; moisture prevents browning.

Chef's tip: If your air fryer is smaller, cook the wings in two batches to avoid overcrowding, which would steam them.

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, paprika, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

    ~5 min
  2. 2

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.

    ~3 min
  3. 3

Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the wings are golden and cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).

    ~20 min
  4. 4

Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.
